Leverage lets you control a position larger than your deposited margin. It magnifies gains and losses in equal measure: a small adverse move in the underlying market can produce a loss that is large relative to your account balance.

• Margin requirements can change with market conditions.
• If margin falls below the maintenance level, positions may be closed automatically.
• Automatic closure does not guarantee a loss will be limited to your account balance.

Markets can move sharply on news, at the open, or when liquidity is thin. Prices can gap through your stop level, meaning an order is filled at a materially worse price than requested. Stops reduce risk but do not eliminate it unless they are guaranteed.

Cryptocurrency markets trade continuously, can be highly volatile, and may be affected by protocol changes, network congestion, exchange outages and shifting regulation. Liquidity for smaller assets can disappear quickly.

Where digital assets are used as collateral, borrowing is overcollateralised and monitored against a loan-to-value ratio. If collateral value falls too far, part of it may be sold automatically to repay the loan, potentially crystallising a loss at an unfavourable price.

Prediction market contracts settle at a fixed value based on the outcome of a real-world event. A contract can settle at zero, meaning the full amount committed to that position is lost. Prices before settlement reflect market expectation, not a forecast by CryonFX.

Access to markets depends on internet connectivity, third-party venues and our own systems. Outages, latency and data delays can prevent you from opening or closing a position at the moment you intend to.
